Christmas is here!

Well it seems like the Chrissy festivities are in full swing now! Up 'til now I've been busy jettsetting around the countryside so I haven't really had too many Chrissy functions to go to, although as soon as I got home on Thursday it just seems there is one thing after another. I'm quite enjoying getting into the Christmas spirit, although it seems so many others are already over it! Too many drinks and chrissy food and they are already waiting for it to be over. It's funny some people seem to use Chrissy as and excuse to be a pig for a whole 4-6 weeks! Don't get me wrong, I love Chrissy and all the yummy treats that go along with it as much as anyone but I don't see the need to eat crap for weeks in the lead up to one day!

So this year I'm feeling pretty good, I've managed to maintain my training and only just started to relax my eating and enjoy some Chrissy treats. So rather than finish the year feeling fat & bloated I will actually enjoy feeling fit and healthy. It's only taken me many years but finally I've found some balance and learned that you can enjoy everything in moderation!

So I hope you are all enjoying Chrissy and all that goes with it but at the same time still keeping a bit active, although if you haven't, now might be the perfect time to sit down and set some health & fitness goals for 2009!
