How I went this week:
Hi everyone :) I am struggling a bit this week. Not so much with my eating and training, they have both been good. For me right now it's mental head stuff. I am not seeing my body change as quickly as I would've thought it would. In two weeks the measurements for my 'fat bits' - arms and hips / bum/thighs area, have not changed. My chest and waist have come down but I want fat off those other areas more!!! My skin is still awful and really not improving at all which for me, at 33 years old is so demoralising. I am really down and finding everything just a bit too hard. I know we all have times like this and am trying to push through as best I can.
What training I did:
I trained hard all week, some days surprising myself, as just leaving the house was a challenge. I did three resistance sessions and 5 hard cardio sessions. My fitness and strength have improved so much in just 4 weeks it's amazing how quickly it happens.
How I’m feeling:
Like I said above, I am feeling very low at the moment. I spent some time with some very happy friends on the weekend and although you might think this would help, it actually reiterates to me just how crappy I am feeling lately. My relationship with my partner is strained and I feel really pessimistic about my future which is hard when I have always been such an optimistic person.
What I can do better next week:
Write a much more positive blog post that's for sure! Sorry for the tone of this one but Hilde says to be honest so there it is :) I will train hard, eat clean and work hard on my self esteem - and let you know how that goes. Have a great week guys :) ali
Hi Ali, Hilds here! Thanks again for your honesty! I know it's really hard right now but this is the time when you can truly make a huge difference. This is the point when so many people give up and never really see what they can truly achieve. The fact that you are still going and being so honest should be something you are proud of. I know right now you just want that scale to go down AND IT WILL but giving up won't get you any closer.
I'd sugget emailing me a really accurate food diary so I can make comments and get things moving for you.
Keep going, you are doing all the right things and should feel really proud of yourself!!!!
