How I went this week:
I enjoyed week three. I am eating clean and avoiding all alcohol and feel almost like a new me! I am a little concerned that I did not drop any weight this week but am not going to let it worry me as I know I did not binge and so it's just the way my body is adjusting and resetting itself - I hope!! I have always weighed around 54-55kg and am 59 at the moment and don't like it!! It's not like I can't wear most of my clothes, but for me, right now the focus is swimmers on the beach!!
What training I did:
Again, I did all my sessions, 4 cardio and three resistance. Week 4 sees an additional cardio session being added to my program - so I am going to be busy indeed!!
How I’m feeling:
I had a few afternoons / evenings this week where I was so exhausted and feling 'off' so went to bed without dinner. Other than that, I have felt good this week. I did not get up at 5.15 every morning but on the days I didn't, I fit my training in throughout the day. I do prefer to get it done first thing so nothing gets in the way of it - as can happen with small children to worry about!
What I can do better next week:
This week I want to relax a into the program a bit more. I am feeling a bit anxious about getting the results I want. I guess I don't honestly believe I can change my body the way I want to. I do feel better though, both mentally and physically and I feel fit and strong again so ultimately, after only three weeks I am happy :)
Another great week Alison! Just the fact you are feeling great and have managed to stay off the alcohol is a HUGE achievment. Don't stress about the scale as it's just one measure of your progress. Keep foccussing on your actions and the results WILL keep coming. YOU WILL change your body and look the way you have always wanted to!!!!
